Structure and Use
The side guide, also known as the straightening and pressure feeding device, is mainly used to position the steel plate in the width direction, preventing it from deviating during processing.
Structurally, the device uses a base, vertical rollers, and a frame welded from steel plates, resulting in a robust structure. The vertical rollers are made of specific steel, quenched and chrome-plated to enhance surface hardness and effectively prevent mechanical wear. Width adjustment is simple and flexible via a handwheel. Vertical rollers are located on both sides of the sheet in the width direction, fixed on a sliding seat, and can be adjusted via a hydraulic cylinder to move along the guide rail in the width direction to accommodate sheet widths of 500-2000 mm. In addition, it is equipped with clamping rollers with motorized feeding to assist in steel plate conveyance.
With this structural design, the straightening and pressure feeding device can accurately center the steel plate, ensuring its positional accuracy in processing steps such as longitudinal shearing and slitting, thereby improving processing quality and production efficiency.
